Ecstasy

by Meredith C Hartwell

I want to roll you over my tongue
like sugar cream in steamy summer
feeling the friction of sticky skin
gently forceful arms clutching me
evercloser
sway ing, GRINDING, p u l s i n g
in God-fearing rhythm.
~I find religion in your eyes~
"No emotional attachments," you promised
~more prayer than position~

my mouth will not be pacified
by a therapeutic tongue
because I dream of absorbing
every syllable passing through your lips
searching the air for the colors
of your sweet breath.

my fingers scream to crawl through your hair
and be lost in twisted locks,
or perhaps to wander, caressing your chest.
nails craving to claw your back
~no pain except the tease~
my flesh aches for your wandering touch
exploring with not-so-innocent curiosity
~anklekneethigh and rising~

You are my addiction
and I long for another hit.
