If I saved a nickel
When I thought of her with love,
The pile of nickels
Would reach the moon above.

If I saved a nickel
Each time I loved her smile,
It would take Mt. Everest
To equal the pile.

If I saved a nickel
When I adored her face,
We'd be up to our neck in nickels
They'd fill every empty space.

If I saved the nickels
We'd be rich beyond belief,
But it would make all others
Go on relief.

So I'll not save a nickel
Not even a dime,
But I'll treasure our love
'Till the end of time.
