Passion

by Adrian Calhoun

Feel the warmth,
of every sunrise.
Feel the yearning,
for a lovers kiss.
Feel the anticipation,
of a million dreams waiting to escape.
Feel the delicate beauty,
of a rose upon your skin.
Feel the power of evening,
colours setting the sky ablaze.
Feel the caress of the wind,
blowing softly across thy face.
Feel the haunting chill,
of a thousand sailors lost at sea.
Feel the dampness closing in,
from a slow drifting mist.

Feel all of these things,
and you have felt, passion.

Absorbing intensely that which is at hand, that which we experience is passion. That is what this poem so passionately says to me.

You paint a vivid and descriptive picture. Passion in your eyes is beautiful.
