All Hallowed's Eve

by Chris D Lavigne

Representations of evil and fear
to be seen as entertainment for this one night of the year
All that has been kept in the closets is brought out for show
What they see is misinterpreted, for it is who we are
the comedy to others is the unforseen reality by far
The blood to be fake will be real tonight
a trail will flow somehow, somewhere still bright
For some of those who do not don the mask, they have no reason to
they are the reason we disbelieve reality 364-1/4 days through
So does it matter to see them in masks and/or paint
knowing that the actions they perform without restraint
Are what we would expect of those who wear the costumes we see

Can you see the difference between them and reality

Excellent work. Clear use of imagery. The statement is perfect.
