Travel Log

I've traveled the world
Little have I missed,
I've applauded champions
And at villians I've hissed.

I've been under oceans
And out in space,
I drove a Roman chariot
In a chariot race.

I once was a Knight,
I was one of the best.
King Arthur sent me
On many a quest.

I rode a white charger
Great sword at my side,
Protecting fair damsels
From dragons I spied.

I knew Romeo
And of course Juliet,
I knew them both
When first they met.

I was there when Paul Bunyon
Felled a tree with one cleave.
On a boat I caught a gambler
With an ace up his sleeve.

When I was a gun fighter
in the old wild west,
I could clear leather
With the very best.

I was a flying ace
In World War One,
When an enemy went down
It was my Spad that won.

Admiral Byrd and I
Explored the Arctic Region.
I even trod the burning sands
With the French Foreign Legion.

In my mind I performed these
While reading book pages,
Lost in the works
Of many great Sages.

How did I miss this pearl? Must have been when I was chasing the barbary pirates off of Tripoli! Wonderful reading!
