Cold Hands, Cold Hearts

by Ryan M Evon

That's what you say
Felt your hands but not your heart
It's beating every minute of every day
Cold hearts just have to be released
Someone will find the way

Hearts like ours, beat so softly
Trying not to be noticed
So they may stay unhurt
Seeing love through a lens unfocused
Behind this glass we will stay

Heart is warm, loving, kind
But it's locked deep, cold disguise
One person holds a key, thats who to find
Found they may be, but wil they get in?
Maybe we hold the key, hidden in our mind

One day we may unlock this heart
Tommorrow, the next, or never
Hopefully when we do it's not to late to start
Like a starburst love will explode free

Cold Hands, warmed by another loving heart
To help our minds unlock the Cold Hearts
