Decisions, Decisions

by Charles E Minshall

_____________________

Every morning I wake up
With some hard decisions.
Ones that take thoughts
Of the highest precision.

My left foot out first
Or should I put out the right.
Should I get up in the dark
Or wait 'till it's light.

Should I take a shower
Or take a bath.
When I go for a walk
Should I use what path.

Then there's the thought
Of donning my slacks.
Do most people stand up
Or lie on their backs.

Left foot in first
Or begin with the right.
Either is hard
If the pants fit tight.

Should I put on the sneakers
Or wear the dress shoes.
Should I wear white socks
Or maybe the blues.

What should I have
For my lunch near noon.
Should I eat with a fork
Or eat with a spoon.

Should I eat a full dinner
Or just have a bite.
My trying to lose weight
Is such a hard fight.

My dear Wife asks
That I get out of bed.
I've been here so long
She thought I was dead.

Should I roll to the left
Or the other side,
As I cover back up
With a yawn inside.

Very funny! You are a master at exaggeration!
