A WINTER POEM

by Charles E Minshall

_________________________

When winter creeps accross the land
And icy is the breeze,
That's when I love an island strand
Away from winters freeze.

There are those who think the weather grand

With snow up to their knees,
But I prefer some warm beach sand
Without the BVDs.

I am with you on this one! A little winter goes a long way! LOL!!! We've had enough winter here to last me 10 years! Lord willing next winter I will be in Florida for a couple of months!

Amen to that. Now spring is teasing us here in Missouri. Yesterday it was in the 60's today it's in the 30"s. Ah fickle Mother Nature.
