To even think a guy would care

I thought that he was different
But I was wrong--He's just like any other man
I'm feeling hurt and angry
My heart is burning up inside
I don't know how to act
I can only cry
Crying takes away
Some of my pain
But as soon as I stop crying
The pain comes back again
As soon as I heard
You were going out with her
It was as if someone grabbed my heart
And squeezed until it burst
Did my feelings mean nothing to you?
Did you really care at all?
Maybe I cared too much
That probably caused it all
I can't help the way I feel
I'm sorry but it's true
I apologize dear, sweet Justin
