Why does no one understand me?
I can't even try to explain.
Because no one understands me.
Why? It's simple and it's plain.

I know that I am different.
That, you can't accept.
I can't let my feelings out.
Inside they must be kept.

I want to be expressed so badly.
I really feel the need-
To shout out all of my problems,
And hope someone will see.

I am what I am, that's true.
Not what you want me to be.
I will not change for you.
Because I want to be me.

Every time someone makes a comment,
I feel tears come to my eyes.
For I can do nothing.
But hide behind this disguise.
