Unbelievable?
Oh, but I do believe,
For I live on the edge
Of the Young--

Those who listen
And play and ponder
Anarchy, Death
And impending Doom--

A Doom they inherited
From my world,
From the Greatest Generation,
From the People of the Book.

I only ask, "Is this
The beginning of Blood?
Whose blood? Surely mine
For I too am of the Book."

And my youth spent,
These Youth may be asked
To offer the greatest gift.
Are they ready? Willing?

Or will their Will
Be to overcome Doom?
Overcome anarchy?
And build a world on Truth.
