unpinch from the mainspring,
unbite from toothed gears,
unswing from the pendulum,
unspin from the armature,
unglass from the bezel,
unsweep from the seconds,
untick from the minutes,
unroll from the hour,
undawn from the day,
unpage from the month,
un-age from the year,
un-die from the life,
unstick, float free,
like a mote,
unfettered by tempus,
unhurried by fugit,
carried by currents,
not pasts and futures,
springing forward,
falling back.
