I often sit and wonder
How one man can have
Such an effect on my life

To turn my world upside down
And drive me crazy,
To distraction

I think of you
And see the one person
I want to spend

The rest of my life with,
Yet you say we’ll probably
Not stay together

When you told me that
It hurt deep down
But this I’ll not let you see

Now I wonder when
The day will come
That you and me

Will go our separate ways
And not longer be together
But I shall tell you now

You are the only one for me
And I’ll wait for you til eternity
And why you ask? Because
