Torment

by Christopher Shin

The world seems so tough,
and maybe when you face
death you realize how
precious how fragil it
can truly be.

I told myself that you
would not understand my
torment, and each day
and night the day becomes
a little different.

Its only when I rest
my head that the day ends,
and the new day begins.
The circles overlap, but
don't you see its not like
that?

We don't live each day in
and out like ferris wheel.
We live it with our own
best intention.

I carried my life like
a burden, and life
isn't like so only you
decide the torment you suffer
each day and night.
