Here is the magnificent beauty
Standing in the cool night air
She patiently awaits her delivery
Her hair blows softly, gently in the air
Her blue eyes twinkling with the stars

It is late and it still hasn't come
She becomes nervous, edgy
She has been waiting for this, forever
It's so close now
Still no sign

A tear falls from her eye
She turns quickly
Car lights
Quickly she runs to see
The car passes her
Again, another tear

She enters her house
She notices a package an the table
A note is there
"My magnificent beauty, forever"
She smiles
Inside the package lay a ring
A ring to last forever.
