Worthy Lost

by Leandra K Brossard

They which seek beyond the fold
for those lost in the rain
Will find, once lost and sopping wet,
one who's learned much pain
That one to whom their heart was set
will stumble home once more
Upon the arm of they which sought
that one pure heart forlorn.
For this one cannot bear a flaw
and never has been marred
The sound of such a one's distress
Leaves the seeker truely jarred
And so she sought, out on her own
the one who strayed beyond the fold
For he, to her, was still of worth
beyond a thousand fold.
