It's spring, flowers are blooming
bringing life again to what had died
And you're sitting writing down memories
of what might have been, if only you'd have tried
...First sip of coffee in the morning
staring at the sunrise moving over the snow covered fields
Looking over your shoulder
waiting for someone who isn't there to come and stand by your side
