I dream of an Angel
dressed only in light
a body so new
in God's divine sight

I dream of her sighing
soft breath by my lips
I kiss her again
my hand on her hips

and I dream of her neck
so slender and bare
leading to shoulders
half covered by hair

so I brush it away
exposing sweet skin
my eyes trace a path
my hands indulge sin

I think briefly to when
our eyes had first met
and now I can smell
her ecstasy's sweat

softly touching her face
I'm trapped in her eyes
as I enter in
I feel her chest rise

pulses beating faster
she writhing above
an Angel in flesh
expressing her love

for brief minutes breathing
our bodies are one
her back arches high
our joy dims the sun

my fingers tracing curves
while after we lie
my heart lost in hers
together we fly

I dream of an Angel
