Have you ever had a day
so absurdly terrible,
so horribly ironic,
that you simply have to
sit back,
laugh,
and say "It figures"?

Have you ever had a day
where you just stopped
in the middle
of doing something you hate
but do everyday anyway
and just asked yourself
why?

Have you ever had a day
so perfectly good
and completely happy,
only to by ruined
in the end
by someone giving you
extremely bad news?

Have you ever had a day
where nothing goes right,
but then there's that one
unexpected, joyous thing
at the end of the day
that cancels out
everything else?

That's life.
