Everyday things seem meaningless to me
when contemplating the world.
The dilemma of what to wear or do
fades into non-existence.
Earthquakes in Turkey,
shootings in schools,
wars halfway across the world;
matters of life and death.
People are blind in their little worlds.
They can't accept it
when harsh reality comes crashing in.
So they forget it,
they can go on like normal.

I always wonder how.
