Any creative idea
or flight of fancy
can be dreamt up
and painted
by a poem.

Poetry
is the heart's dictionary.
Any emotion
experienced by your heart
can be defined
and expressed
in a poem.

Poetry
is the soul's storybook.
Any journey
of torment or release
can be told
and shared
in a poem.

A poem, then,
is a link
into the mind,
heart,
and soul
of the artist
who created it.
