Be honest.
For once in your life,
say what you mean
to whom you mean to say it.
Evasiveness and subtlely
are prone to grow tiresome
when overused.
So be blunt,
be candid,
be cruel if necessary,
but for the love of life,
be honest!
Forget tact,
forget excuses -
most would rather know
the truth
than hear lies
meant to protect.
Forget deceit,
forget sarcasm;
they lead to more hurt
than the simple truth ever could.
So speak your mind -
blatently if necessary,
personally by necessity,
and truthfully by courtesy.
Be honest.
