Angela's Eyes

Angela's Eyes
by Alan Mahood

Angela's eyes are dark
And deep and she has
That deer caught in headlights
Look that attracts men
Like a night flame draws moths.
Angela's skin seems to
Glow from within and is
Smooth and firm like a
Peach picked too early.
Angela's legs are long and
Lean seeming to go on forever,
And seeing them you think
She will tower over you,
But she doesn't.
Angela's voice calls like
The nightingale singing
Over the soft murmur of
Smow melt water laughing as
It falls down a mountainside.
Angela's face curves around
Her cheeks and over her brow,
Having the beauty that
Inspired ancient men to carve
Figures from stone.
Angela rises and stretches
Like a cat, seeming to purr
As the tension ripples through
Her and relaxes.
Turning, her eyes
Beckon.
