This man who I have known for a few short months has me completely mesmerized
He is like a shadow: quiet, mysterious, elusive, beautiful
And like a shadow, I can’t seem to catch it, but also am never far from it
My heart melts when I see him, like some unseen force is pulling us towards one another
I think he sees this as well, although I am unsure
He seems to want me as badly as I want him
It is always hard when you care a great deal for someone
Ands you barely even know that person
Yet you still feel that strong bond
Like there is something there, holding on, never wanting to let go
I can feel it, and I want him more than ever now
I long to be with him
If my feelings are right, he longs to be with me as well
We are one as equal, but two as a shadow
One that you always try to catch
And never seem to be able to
My one longing wish in this world
Would be to be able to catch this one mysterious shadow
And keep him with my, forever in my arms.
