You take my words
And you shun them
To you, nothing I say is sacred
You twist it
You lie
You don’t understand what you are doing
You don’t see who you are pushing away

You must take me seriously
You cannot honestly perceive to know that I am just being hasty
You think that I am someone you can push around

I know you all too well
I know how you think
I also know that you expect life to blow this over

You think that I am that shallow
That in a week’s time this will all be forgotten
That you will be seen as a friend again
This time you will see you are wrong
I won’t let this blow over
You have hurt me too much

I will hold on to this
This is not a grudge
That is not what I would like to think of it as
I would like to think of this as a period of reflection
Time to look back and see the pain


When you come to your senses
I will be there
I will not wait long though
You have to make this decision on your own
Take my words seriously
These could be my last words to you.
