When it comes to love
It can be the best thing in the world
Or it can seem like the worst offense

When it comes to love
And you both feel the same
You can be happy and have the world

When it comes to love
And you love someone and they don’t feel the same
You can feel like you committed an awful crime

When it comes to love
The worst punishment is to not receive that love in return
You will feel like you have nothing

When it comes to love
It is a big gamble
With your heart as the stakes
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose

Hopefully one day this punishment will end
That will be the day that you find true love
It is out there, until then you just have to deal
With your punishment.
