We sat in the car and stared at each other
Both of us knew how we felt
We held hands in silence
She began to open the door.
I clenched her hand longer.
"Stay"
I leaned over and gave her a hug
A whisper entered my ear
"I have to go"
She began to move away
I held her closer and closer
She tugged and said "I can't"
I lean to her
"I will miss you"
She opened the door slowly
Looked at me and smiled
"Bye"
She closed the door and went inside
