As I re-read what you have
Written, I think of how I should reply
For the hell you are going through
Now I have already experienced
I have learned that only time
Can heal a pain like this, and
I can guide and show you,
But if you are to continue on
This path, it must be you who
Chooses to do so
I shall be here to help you
Up when you fall
A shoulder when you need one to cry on
And a friend when you need one most
But what you ask of me is a great task
To which I believe I am able,
Yet you have to be beside me if
I am to show you the wonders
Of this path
