Mirrorless, reflective glass

by Angela Hanska

Glancing out the reflective glass
Peering into the colorless night
I wonder if you see the same

Standing still, the noise becomes so loud
It is silent
Where have all my thoughts gone
Is this what you feel when you say ‘you are lonely’

I sense your presence although
You are nowhere near

The darkness flows out from the mirrorless glass
Consuming my mind and heart until I find the light to banish it.
