The hurt, pain, & doubt
How could this have happened
For a simple word to destroy
So long a friendship hurts so much
You doubted me because of
Something I supposedly said
Why did you not ask instead
Of calling and yelling at me?
For to my knowledge I have
Done nothing wrong.
The friendship we had is
No longer what it was
You should know that I would
Do nothing to harm you
For friends do not do that to friends
It hurts so much that it
brings tears to my eyes
how could you not trust me
for after so long?

Forgiveness and understanding
Will come later in time but
Our friendship shall never be the same.
