As I lie here wondering
Thinking of how things
Came between us
For I know of my feelings
For you, but what of your
Feelings toward me?

I have read your poems
And wonder how one soul
Could hold so much emotion
And then use such eloquently
Words to describe them.

Your poems have such meaning
Yet they are coded and I am
Unable to decode them
So many things you hide, and
Do not share, mostly the
Dark memories that you do not wish to bare

I wonder if ever you shall
Share with me or will I
Forever wonder what the whole
You is like?
