I read and re-read
The poem and yet only
Some of it makes any
Sense to me
And yet what I understand
Is probably not what the poet meant
I wish to ask and
Yet do not for fear of being wrong
As I read the poem once
More, my emotions feel as
If they are on a roller coaster,
Going from one extreme to the next.
I guess I shall never
Know and shall wonder for
The rest of eternity.
