Emily D's tea in Pasadena

here's one inspiring event today... I wrote two poem this morning inspired by her ... and I plan on bringing the old book of Great Poems of the English language... my dad read to me from that before i could read... it is interesting to see which poems were chosen to be included in such an antholgy! (I want to read her poem... "Choice"...) and maybe my two little dream poems if there is time.

And please come to our home for another celebration of the Holiday Season on Saturday, Dec 8, at 3:30 pm for our traditional Emily Dickinson Tea, and bring a poem to share: it can be Emily Dickinson or it can be another poet's. I have a new poet I want to introduce you too. Tim and I are looking forward to seeing you again! Feel free to bring a dish or not, as inspiration takes you!
