Since so many friends love this photo I am putting it here. My husband Rick took this photo at the Santa Barbara Zoo, next door to our condo there. The hat is one of two made by a good friend years ago, and I have altered and preserved them, because I love them so much, trimming and lining the brim, rearranging the flowers. The shawl was a gift from my friend Lynn, my percussion teacher, from one of her trips, it has tiny fish with sparkly eyes, which you cannot see in the picture. The photo was not altered, the giraffes were in the background. I have long hair, really, you'll see that in other photos. It was just in braids, hiding under my hat.

I changed my library photo. I will probably change my profile picture every week or so, just for fun, so I hope some friends will enjoy that too. Thanks to everyone who loved this picture.
