Peeve for the Day

Everyone in the world wants exactly what they want. There is no common ground or agreement. As my Tech Comm professor said..."Trust no one!" Of course that has come from a lot of people but it is the truth. "Trust no one".....Words to live by. Everyone wants wants wants but doesn't give give give...or for that matter share and agree. Someone is always a leader and wants to lead the pack. Granted, sometimes that's sometimes a good thing but it can always blow up in your face. I'm sure each person has been in a situation where they have been in a group or organization that the leader is wrong or doesn't know what they are doing. Yeah. Good introduction to my situation.

I'm in a suite of 6 this year. We have 3 bedrooms of 2 people each, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a good size common area. Tell me if this doesn't make sense: Take 3 people, plop them in one bathroom and they get that one to themselves, the other 3 get the other one....simple...easy cleaning. Haha right....Common room...everyone should be entitled to their opinion regarding the arrangement of the common area. Yeah I had a good idea to set it up but that isn't working because one person..only one decides how it's set up the way "he" wants it. Bull shit is all I have to say. I'm not getting shanked on this one.

Two people really bug me. They are like a friggin married couple. Yeah don't tell me what I can and cannot do.

They are asking for trouble and I'm not going to take it this time. This same thing happened last year. Include everyone in your decision and if you don't want something, give a logical reason why you don't want it that way other that you just "don't like it that way". Grow up and learn to be responsible about agreeing on something and not just assuming everyone wants what "you" want.

Well...now that all that is out, and they can basically screw off, let me say that today is Friday and everyone is to have a good day. Yay for all.
