The Journal of Leonard M Hawkes

An American Mantra
08/27/2002 04:05 a.m.
As I sat beside Lake of the Woods contemplating outward, inward, and civic storm, I found myself chanting this familiar verse:

"Grant us the rain,
O, God,
But spare us the wrath
Of the Thunder."
I am currently Sarcastic
I am listening to The beating of my own heart and the rising of the wind.
