The Journal of Julie Adams Twilight Traveler (inspired by/for JS)
08/28/2002 11:11 p.m.
mourning dew trickles between limbs
of a weeping willow
rooted in Salinger soil, swooning
the breath of a slow Ryan Adams breeze
word crumbs trickle into a trail
of poems from deep in the forest
the trail leads to a clearing
where the soul can rest, nap
upon the horizon of a long day gone by
kick boots off, stay awhile,
until the full moon of opportunity shines
her soft glow between your trestles
and lures you into tomorrow…
...ur day will come... I am currently Affectionate
I am listening to the muffles and troubles of Brooklyn as they echo over America
