There was a time when I thought this interpretation and teaching of what is commonly known as “The Serpent Seed” doctrine was just plain batshit crazy. I also thought I was too smart and too educated to embrace such mythical-like ideas as anything more than mere fictional stories. Still, my curiosity to understand how such “nonsense” came to be, drove me into a deeper study of The Word that eventually changed me. I came upon a teacher who showed me this understanding by going back to the study of the sources of the interpreted texts. It required diligent study , the use of ” The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible” by Dr. James Strong and a King James Bible. Some make the mistake and try to take internet “shortcuts” to find out what this supposedly is and what the Bible supposedly “says”. That is a big mistake. Personally, I don’t take anyone’s word for understanding….I MUST check it out for me. I also put any bias on a shelf in terms of belief in Biblical reality. And the more I studied, the more I finally understood and my eyes were opened. If it wasn’t for the witness of the serpent seed teaching in the New Testament by Jesus Christ, I might have continued to remain a skeptic. The fact is, Jesus did teach the “Serpent seed doctrine”. So did the apostles. I do not like to refer to it as the “Serpent seed doctrine”. However, that’s what most people call it. But it’s actually incorrect to call it that because it is simply part of the doctrine or teachings of Jesus Christ…..
