On trying to make things right
07/28/2011 01:30 a.m.
How many times can a world go off kilter
Before it folds in on itself?
How many ways can one person
Feel totally out of sync
With their own life
Before they hook back up
With their true destiny.

Sometimes, it just feels too late.

I'm so very tired.

You took those questions right out of my mouth and with the same conclusion!Ali,I think of it as a test and one that is very hard to pass.Be strong, for you are only in a weak moment that you will overcome because your WILL is that strong. Try to get some rest my friend.

I wish I could answer this for you, however, I can't. What I can say, though, is that I know you'll not only just make it through, but prosper. *HUGS*

True destiny? Too many Cinderella stories at bedtime as a child? I personally don't believe in true destiny. I believe people are human and life is difficult. Life or people rarely if never live up to those expectations cause we create unrealistic should-be fantasies in our heads. Sometimes life hands us a bad card but God gives us our mind and heart to turn it into something better. Sometimes it's difficult to see, I know cause I have sang this same song myself far too many times. Sometimes I think just accepting life isn't fair is the kindest thing we can do for ourselves. I just read a inspiring book called "Feeling Good" by David Burns. You might want to give it a read it helped me some with identifying my feelings and thoughts and how I could better manage them. I have struggled with life lately myself and I can so identify with the part when you say you are tired. Life is hard but hang in there you can do it.

It gets better. It might take a long time before it does, but trust me when I say, it does.
