Wonderful weekend. We sat up our nest in a small pine grove and it was perfect. No lights or water yet, so we had to "rough it" with just the couple of gallons we'd taken with us, one candle that would actually stay lit and Chip rigged up some lights from the truck battery, lol. Logan loved it and didn't want to leave with David and Jarrod. It was sooooo quiet! I'd forgotten what it's like to actually be able to hear nature. Nothing but birds and frogs and an occasional cow lowing. We had a fire all Saturday evening and made our coffee on one Sunday morning. Went to his house to watch the Superbowl and it was an awesome game. First one I've watched in years. Altogether a wonderful weekend.
