Taking a breather

Today has been rather frantic.

I took my 14 yr old to my dad's to do some yard work. He wanted to earn some money to go to the movies with his "Girl" friend. Well he's been having an irregular/racing/pounding heartbeat since Monday evening... 2-3 times a day. He called me frantic telling me that Grandpa was gone and he needed to go to the ER.

Long story short... I got him to the Dr. and he is supposed to have an EKG and echocardiogram run next week, as well as have a halter monitor at some point next week... gotta go to the bank and take out a loan since I don't have insurance on him right now.

On another note.... the district that I didn't get the job with was on the news last week. They have a $12 million budget shortfall! Now I'm almost relieved and glad I didn't get the job.
