October 21: We reap answers to prayers for our own needs as we sow into others needs. Try to find information on another state's ballot issues. Pray for them as you are praying for your own today.
Our Father who art in heaven
We gather in spirit and truth this day
Foremost in our gathering is our unified spirit of family.
We are a diverse and dispersed family but Abraham’s family.
We are a body
Your body
The head of our body is Christ Jesus
Our head is in the clouds, the head of this body, the head of our body.
Our feet are upon the earth, we inhabit this clay
Fully grounded in our ability to stand tallest upon our knees as we petition heaven.
You have revealed the truth of heaven to my heart
You made a decision of your grace to equip me for this race for a finish line where the ticker tape parade is NOT of earth.
My function in this assembly today of prayer warriors is to listen.
I listen. Holy Spirit, give me ears to hear what you are saying to the church, the body. Give wisdom today as we listen to speak.
I recognize that I have, because I’ve been given, a voice.
I submit it for your use.
It is yours because you have created it.
Speak, in your thunder, as we bow.
I can’t listen in, to their words with my ears, so I draw near to your heartbeat and know you will synchronize my spirit with yours, by the warring presence of the Host.
You have gathered them, together with us.
We have been in the stages of preparation for this moment, these 21 days, for months now.
You have determined to arise.
This land is truly not prepared for the salt you are pouring in these crippled and stagnant waters, so give great grace.
I thank you for the preparation in the south by the actual whirling winds of Katrina.
What great wisdom.
It was to prepare a people for the great whirling winds of your spirit which is eternal. In the land of the eternal, seen by the temporal as ephemeral and intangible, let your temples glow with the oil that has been poured out being lit by the fires of heaven.
Words Control Your Life
PROVERBS 18:20-21 NKJ
20 A man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his
mouth, and from the produce of his lips he shall be filled.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those
who
love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:20 says what your lips produce will fill your
life.
Your lips produce -- words.
Words determine the course and the outcome of your life.
You
now have, and will continue to have, the fruit your tongue
produces.
To change your life you need to change your words.
JAMES 3:2,8 NIV
2 We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault
in
what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole
body
in check.
8 but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil,
full
of deadly poison.
To change the words you speak you need God's help.
As Jesus said, out of the abundance of your heart your
mouth
will speak. So, you need a new heart and you need it filled
with God's Word. Only in that way can your tongue be
brought
under complete control.
SAY THIS: Lord, because your Word teaches that words
control my
life, please help me to control my words.
