Friday the 13th Miracle!!!

Hi All.

I'm gonna be brief, as I am beyond exhausted. To all of you who commented on my last entry, IM'd me prayers and thoughts for my dad's recovery - Thank You! Words, thoughts and prayers can and do move mountains. I am eternally grateful. I'll elaborate more soon, but I'll summarize: in the last two weeks since my dad's awful motorcycle accident he's been severely critical and mostly in and induced coma. We saw him Thursday and his lungs and heart were getting worse. He just had the most dreadful blank, glassy stare. Mom and I have been a wreck, as you can imagine.
Then we go into the ICU for visiting hours today and his nurse says, "I have a surprise for you...". And there was my dad, sitting in a chair next to his bed, alert! Words are failing me right now, but we cried, held his hand and tried to communicate as best we could (he's still intubated). The ICU staff is shocked at his progress too, though he's still in very guarded condition.
So thank you all, your prayers have helped save the life of a very special, honorable, and widely loved man. His recovery will be long and challenging, but this terrible accident has made my family close and loving again. Wow.

k, that's all for now. This is likely my least eloquent journal entry ever, but I guess that's not too important today. God bless you and your families! :)
