The Journal of A. Paige White Stars & Planets
10/07/2006 12:33 a.m.
Time for another challenge! This time it's a sentence challenge. The
sentence you must incorporate into your poem is:
stars and planets ply the heavens.....
Once again you must write a poem using this sentence - any style, any
length, etc. Good luck and hope everyone enjoys it! I can't wait to
see where we all take this one. :o) Should be lots of fun to read all
the replies, it always is when there are so many talented writers
participating!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
hmmm... gotta think on this one.
stars and planets ply the heavens.....
Supervisors map the fair
Angels and demons play not harps down here
At war they're everywhere.
Stars and planets ply the heavens
Comets are shots of war
The moon's a camera
Lightening a digital flight repast
We've shot the moon before.
Stars and planets ply the heavens
Many a love struck gaze they draw
Many a waving fist in the night
The sons of man run aground
Stars and planets ply the heavens
Angel chariots are racing out there
Then swing so low resonating the songs they hear
The quieted are listening in prayer.
I am currently Dumbfounded
I am listening to singing waters overflowing my soul
