Writing, but not poetry
03/20/2006 04:31 a.m.
I have been writing more articles, and fewer papers for my class. I dropped my class, or rather my class dropped. The teacher was the Bishop of Dallas, Rt. Reverend James Stanton. However, he has had so many other commitments, and had back problems that resulted in surgery, that too many classes have been dropped. I told the Dean that I didn't know where I stood. So she told me I can drop the class this year and take it again next year for free.

I have been writing for Westside Magazine and Collin County Kids. But here is the big news: I have been asked by a publisher to submit a few sample columns. He is looking for a local column writer.

It all began with my becoming fed up with a magazine I am currently writing for. I just disagree with their philosophy, and the other articles in it make me puke. It is geared for "premier living" and its audience is households with $300,000+ a year incomes. A society magazine, a local Vogue. - not me. So I contacted another magazine, one that I enjoy reading and comes to my door every month.
Wish me luck. Talk about cool, my own column.

Well, that is why I am not very active on Pathetic.
I am currently Fabulous
I am listening to Be Your Own Pet
