The Journal of Joseff Marat

[soundless two]
11/06/2005 07:12 p.m.
this is an unfinished idea - i wanted to post something, so i didn't wait.

-----------------
martin falls back into the snowy fields of the yukon. completely alone.
an expanse of land that's never been touched or even set foot on by mankind.
there he lay, completely still, staring up at the azure blue heavens.

there is only silence.
a deafening silence that takes the very sound of his breath away.
he talks to the sky in a normal tone of voice - yet it is repeated as just a whisper.

[if a sound is made that breaks this barrier - this, silent's silence -
does it evaporate and travel into some fold of time?]

....

the icey bering sea.
a whaling boat makes a low rumble through small temporary bergs.
not a soul, lest the crew, could notice.

....

a shoemaker in the netherlands arrives at work;
december of 1784AD.
he kindles the dying embers of last even's fire.
as he turns to grab a piece of wood, a low rumble echoes throughout the timbers of this workshop.

a sudden moisture is in the air.

I am currently Unsure
