The Journal of Terry Olynik The 48 mile-long cigarette.

While ruminating about my 38 months of keeping nicotine's vise-like grip from my throat (literally), and having a weakness for all things statistical - I came up with the following figures.
I smoked 60 cigarettes a day for 35 years. At 4" a smoke, that's 20ft. of cigarette a day. Times 12,775 days. That's 255,500 feet. Which is (and I'm not proud of this - but it is mind-boggling) forty-eight freakin' miles of cigarette!!!! Ya gotta have helluva long arms to light that bad-boy up. The cost of that smoke? There are some things you really don't want to calculate. I am currently Nostalgic
