The Journal of Cathlyn Cartier What a pain in the....

Ass.. literally.
I started back to work last week Thursday. I spent the whole day sitting on a hard bench listening to presentations. This is something I would not advise to anyone who has back or sciatic problems.
Friday morning I was already experiencing swelling and spasms. By the end of the day Friday I was having a lot of difficulty. Saturday was even worse. A few hours in the pool helped, at least until I got out of the pool. Being in the water taking all of the pressure and weight off helped immensely, but I could barely get out of the pool afterwards. It seemed as if my leg wasn't going to support me.
I had my fiance help me with some stretches, etc. and it gave me some relief, but not nearly enough. I started back on pain/anti-inflammatory meds and muscle relaxers and I got a massage yesterday, mostly on the right side and working on my glutes and leg. That has helped out immensely. I can still feel the twinges, spasms, etc. but it's at a tolerable level for now.
It really sucks to be falling apart like this and I'm not even 38! I am currently Tired
