DNA Evidence of Me

I became an uncle today. Actually, I was 'uncle-ized' for the sixth time, but it's kinda like the first for me.

See, I live in this Alice-in-Psychotropic-BlotterLand where you don't meet your family until your 33 yrs old.

It's weird, but sometimes - like today - these new moments with my new-found sisters and my father and these little boys calling me uncle - I'm getting to enjoy this stuff all of you get to and I could only envy growing up.

My new nephew is named Anthony Michael, 7.3lbs and 19.5 inches. He's really cute, though I am biased (and I always used to say, "I can't tell a cute baby, but I can sure spot an ugly one"). Well, this little guy's hansome, so I'm quite proud.

I know i'm blathering on, but I'll just leave you with a thought:
Imagine looking at a newborn baby boy today,
one who may even have your nose
When until just months ago, you had never
laid eyes on someone who resembles you?

Is it too early to buy the boy a fishing pole?
I am currently Content
I am listening to Art Bell (UFO talk radio guy)
