I am the doting Auntie

So a few weeks back, my niece ~ Dora Jean ~ stayed the night with me. She turned 6 years old in March by the way. We spent the evening just sitting around ~ mostly me writing and her coloring. So I suppose that when she looked over at me and saw me writing in my journal ~ she got a little curious. Got to wondering what I was doing. Now that I think back, I bet she thought I was writing a book or something. Thus she decided (of her own accord) to write a book. It was flattery in it's utmost form. She wanted to be like her Auntie Shonda. So I pretended to not be aware of what she was doing. She got two large pieces of paper and stapled them together. Then folded a crease. This made it four pages and a book form. She went straight to work. It was simply amazing. You could see her little mind working. Anyway, after all was said and done ~ she came over to me and announced that she had written me a story. Then she read it aloud. Here is her story: (please remember that this was written by a 6 year old with no help from anyone)

Once upon a time Shonda marries a beautiful Prince and lives happily ever after but they still kiss each other together in the bed and they didn't have socks on. I like to watch TV with them and Shonda and her hubiny, her hubiny name is Jeorge and Shonde calleg him Jeorge of the Jungle and Shonda went to the gifit sope for his birth day presents and she got him a ring and she got him a diamond ring. $99.44 cents. I know ~ isn't she sweet. Funny what she decided to write. I guess if I am ever going to find a man ~ I need to go to the jungle, buy him the ring and then live happily ever after. Heck, she has even given him a name! Sure sounds like a plan to me!
